Mount Gibson Iron are installing a new 560 kW dewatering pump pontoon in their Koolan Island open pit for dewatering. Petro Min Engineers are responsible for the Electrical and controls design for the pump power supply, pump starters and detailed design and the telemetry system. The starter uses a 1000 Volt Solcon Soft Starter from Sundrive and Miri RTU’s for the telemetry system.
