Cal Dive International is an international marine construction company with a range of offshore construction vessels and diving support vessels.
They are owners of several diving support vessels called LPA Watercraft, which were manufactured by ADI Limited in Newcastle.
Petro Min Engineers along with the Avid group have designed and installed a new generator management and control system to allow synchronising and load sharing of the vessels two generators as well as an upgrade on the instrumentation on each engine.
The work also involved some changes to the power distribution and the operation in conjunction with the shore power supply.
These changes kept the vessels electrical system within its DNV certification.
