Petro Min Engineers have been contracted by Energy Power Systems Australia for the electrical and controls engineering and design for the upgrade of the EDL-RE power station at Anglogold Ashanti Sunrise Dam Gold Mine.
Energy Power Systems (EPSA) are removing two 860 kW diesel engine generators and providing two gas engine generators from MWM. They are MWM TCG2020 V16 gas engine generators rated 5342 kVA at 11,000 Volts. Petro Min Engineers will provide the engineering and design for the High Voltage switchgear and cabling upgrades as well as the engine controls and monitoring interface into the existing power station controls.
This work continues Petro Min Engineers relationship with EPSA, providing engineering services for the Chevron Wheatstone project and four 10MW power stations connected to the Western Power SWIS network.
