Petro Min Engineers has again been engaged by Goldfields Australia to provide detailed Electrical and Controls design for the mines SAG and Ball Mill Auxiliary Systems. This includes new lube oil systems, new oil cooling systems plus a new motor cooling circuit and dust filtration for the SAG mill.
The works involves the integration of new motors, variable speed drives, monitoring instruments, PLC interface and vendor equipment interfaces.
PME will also provide new equipment specifications and installation scope of work for tendering by Goldfields. During the change over works to the new systems PME will provide on site support and supervision.
