Petro Min Engineers provided the electrical and civil engineering and design for a new transformer substation for EMR’s Golden Grove Flotation Plant Expansion.
The design included an extension to the existing earthing grid, Protection systems modifications, and a High Voltage Submission to DMIRS and Western Power. Due to the close proximity to existing buildings, the design also included a fire rated blast wall
The fire rated wall was required to meet the EMR’s insurance underwriters requirements.
