Moora Citrus 33kV Power System Extension

Petro Min Engineers have continued their relationship with Moora Citrus, the states largest citrus producer, since their initial 33kV grid connection almost 10 years ago through a number of upgrades and extensions of their power system.

Petro Min Engineers have completed the design, equipment specification, selection and certification for the utility of their fourth substation and approximately 1000 metres of 33kV cable.

The new substation was predominantly for the additional requirements for water as their plantation expands. This new 500 kVA substation will provide power to several large submersible water pumps.

The installation works was performed by Westelect with the on site assistance for civil works and excavations from the team at Moora Citrus.
