Petro Min Engineers have been contracted by several solar system and energy supplier companies to provide an engineering and review and regulatory sign off for several solar power systems to be connected to the SWIS medium voltage network.
These systems are rated between 30 and 150 kW. Petro Min Engineers provides sign off on the design for compliance with Western Power Technical Rules.
On completion of the installation, our engineers provide commissioning support, sign off on the Western Power Connection Schedules and perform the required power quality recording and analysis.
These systems are normally connected to the site main 415 Volts switchboard and some have been exporting type systems while others have been zero export systems. Each of these options has different power system protection, control and metering requirements.
