Petro Min Engineers have been contracted by Anergy Pty Ltd for the electrical and engineering design of a new Activated Carbon plant.
The plant is located in Genk, Belgium and will convert Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) to Activated carbon. An additional benefit of this process is the production of Syngas which will be used to provide energy to the plant and to generate electrical power for export to the local electrical network.
This stage of the work is to develop key drawings and equipment specifications for the long lead items of electrical plant.
This is a new project and is based on the relationship developed with Anergy on the East Metropolitan Regional Council’s Wood Waste To Energy Plant at Hazelmere in Western Australia. Read more about the existing Hazelmere Plant here
